My life poured out. That is what I want in life. Simple. Pure. True. My life poured out, like liquid love. My prayer is that my life would be poured out like liquid love upon Jesus. And I believe that is how Jesus sees me.
Tonight, I had this very "word" or prayer, prayed over me by a very good friend. It was so perfect. In my very own home, I was blessed by a prayer. We sat, the three of us, upon the floor praying for one another after a bible study. In my own mind, I was thanking the Lord for the opportunity to have a bible study in my own home. As I was internally thanking Him, it was then that my dear friend began to pray, " Rachael's life is a life poured out." I was silent. I couldn't believe a simple prayer could so profoundly reveal the desires of my heart. Yes, I desire for my life to be a life that pours into others. A life that loves others as Jesus loves. To love Jesus, as He so loves me. It was then, that I began to realize, that I can be the woman at Jesus' feet pouring the expensive perfume out over Him. I can be that person. I can take what I have... and pour it out! If I have food, give to someone who does not. If I have money, give to the one that does not. If I have clothes, clothe the one who has not. If I have a home, give to the one who does not. This is my desire....
